Steadily growing since 1974, Fair & Cheer Inc. is now one of the leading lens manufacturers in Taiwan. Specializing in reflection and multi coating, we enjoy a high market share in Taiwan’s domestic market. Additionally, we export to Europe, Asia, South Africa and the North & South American markets.
We are very proud to announce that we have successfully extended our product range from ophthalmic lenses to flat panel displays. We are producing millions of CMOS, CCD, and cover displays monthly. We have two sheet glass processes: scribing and slicing. We then lap, polish, edge, harden the chemical and apply further IR/AR coating.
Fair & Cheer Inc. is now also slicing sheet glass for the opto-electronic industry. We slice from 0.1mm, and further grinding and polishing processes are also available. AR/IR multi layer coating is another new offering for the opto-electronics.
Mineral prescription lenses
Most of our blanks are imported from Corning. We have clear white and pink colors, and our series of photochromic prescription lenses is primarily Corning’s PGX (gray)/ PBX (brown). All of our mineral lenses are available in multi-coating.
The quality of our lenses has remained steady although competition from China and Southeast Asia has forced us to compromise our prices. Our toric capacity is 200,000 pairs per month, and 500,000 pairs per month for sphere.
Organic prescription lenses
This index applies to all of our uncoated, multi coated, hard coated and water repelling lenses. Our annual production capacity for uncoated lenses is two million pairs, and all of these coatings are done in Taiwan. We also do anti-reflection, super hydrophobic coating and EP coating among others. The annual capacity for these additional products is one million pairs. All specifications are matched with DIN.
